Site-specific installation/intervention in private space
A behavioral psychologist analyzed photographs I took of the living room of a house in the North Island area in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. By looking at the broader picture and examining detailed pictures of the objects found in the space he tried to find out as many details about the people who live in the room. People he never met and knew nothing about. On the already present TV screen a video is playing in which the findings of the psychologist are shared with the viewer.
During the weekend of 3, 4 and 5 June 2011 this project was part of KunstKamers Rotterdam, an art route where works were displayed in the private spaces of the inhabitants of the North Island area.
